all i want to know is how do i join a ship or plan or tank or wutever i just want to be a gunner

You can only join ships and bombers for gunning, on ground vehicles and fighter planes the pilot shoots.
For joining bombers first find a pilot of your country who wants you to join him, find his name in the roster and rightclick on it, on the pop up menu select join. Note that you have to be in tower or hangar to do so afaik.
To gun in a ship that is part of a task group change your tower position to the task group and go to hangar. There you select ship gun as plane and then select the gun you want to seat in on the floor of the hangar. Then click H and your in.
I surely hope this explanation was easy enough to understand.

To use a ship/field gunner you simply have to select "gun ship or field" in hagar, choose your gunner position with a minimized clipboard and then click the H button on clipboard.
To use GV (ground vehicles, ie panzer etc) go to hagar, right click on the list and select 'vehivles'. Then you get the list of available GVs. You can either spawn in hangar (H button) or at a spawn point away from the field (they are indicated by yellow arrows on the map).
As for gunning in someones bomber you have to join his plane. Do that by typing '.join ' in the radio buffer of go to roster, right click on his name and select 'join'. One advice: ask first before you join someone.
