Title: CH Gear up for Grabs
Post by: BD on August 29, 2005, 04:20:12 PM
Howdy all,

I was a long time player of WB, then got into AH in Beta.  Unfortunately, between Real Life (TM) and general AH burnout, I haven't played in a while.

Even with AH TOD on the horizon, I think it's time to hang up my wings.

So, I have one set of CH Pro Pedals and a CH F-16 combatstick that I'm giving away for the cost of shipping.  I'm in Colorado Springs, so if you can pick them up, so much the better.

THESE ARE ANALOG, NOT USB!  So you need a game port to run them.

Tell me in a post and in as few words as possible why you should get these, for just the cost of shipping them to you.  I'll decide, based on my own completely arbitrary whims, who should get them.

Thanks and Good luck!

I've come close to buying pedals before, but I've always wondered if my prostetic leg (BKA) would cause a comfort issue.

If they didn't work out for me, I could give them to my neighbor AKk1mble.

I dont readily have the money to spend for a new set-up to possible find out that after I get it all installed that it doesnt work for me. At least if I dont like it I could come back and make the same kinda offer to someone who might.

I will be happy to take them and give them to my brother who in his current situation can not afford them.

He then will be able to play without having to use a gamepad.

Even if I do not receive this equipment {which is fine} your generosity is greatly appreciated.

Well for about $16.00 you can make them unspiky USB stuff by using a RadioShack Game port to USB adapter (part #26-164) and they won't be spiky analog crap.  I use CH analog pedals with my other CH USB gear just fine thank you...

All the Best...

I say give them to Moil.  His pumpkin patch was the most sincere.

I was born a poor underpriveledged child ...you and society owe it to me. If I don't get it I'm calling Al Gore to come make a speech in front of your house!

What a nice gesture ..  But Save yourself some headache BD,

If you want to really get rid of them, where they would really do some good,  donate them to goodwill or something like that in your area.  Find a kid where you live that is depribed and would really appreciate them.

There is other places that would really benefit from your kindness,  So I suggest look in your phone book and decied from there, or in the local new paper under free stuff (listings for free stuff is usually free)  Try to find  Someone that could not afford to play on line or has a older pc that only has analog and would really enjoy them.

That way you dont have to mess with shipping or nothing.   Not to mention having to read some of the smart arse replies some give here.

Just my opinion, Its your decision my friend.
