Still loads to do, just a preview.

442 Sqn RCAF "Edmonton Special"

1 day after VE Day it was part of the contigent sent to clear out the Channel Islands.

Nice skin :aok

The brit boys love to paint their planes
with yellow on the wings and upper
sides. They have more losses at own
ack than on german groundfire :lol

Rivets are a little too pronounced IMO.  Not sure if you've tweaked that or not, just giving my opinion. :)

Other than that, it looks incredible!

Yeah white rivets are a little over visible, was just doing sections to see overall look, once all rivets in place then will do the overlay and erase.

Update -

Disabled highlighted rivets temporarily

Need feedback on -

Chipping: not complete just general feeling about it.
Screws/fasteners: Tried 'new' ones, look at previous pics, which is better?

Much better! Chipping looks ok. Still needs work tho. I'm not the chip master ask fester or greebo

Looks amazing.  I'd leave the highlighted rivets off.

Definately prefer the new fasteners.  One thing I'd add would be some chipping around where the canopy slides.  Perhaps some scrape chips or something like that under the yellow.

Changes -

Added canopy chips along lower edge and sliding to fixed front canopy join.

Finally found location of front lower nose intake, so added that.

Re-did "Edmonton Special" logo.

Defined area around exhaust stubs more.

Reduced saturation to 'dull' down colors.

Hmmm.  I like the brighter colors better.  The yellow looks like a brown/yellow or tan on the new one.

Think I'm just about finished :)

Two things I can't do anything about -
1) Stbd upper cannon shrouds get color from rear wing.
2) Port side outer leading edge yellow has a gap, color comes from rear part of wing.

Both bugs posted in Bug forum.

Will take the weekend to have a good look at it, if I'm happy will submit on Monday.
Will put on ah-skins.com later today.
