help help help!! This is my computer
here (http://www.bizrate.com/marketplace/product_info/details__cat_id--461,prod_id--7787003.html)
I just ordered a 6600 256k
But on this spec sheet it says
Video Memory: (what's this?) 64 MB
Maximum Video Memory: 64 MB
Does that mean i can only use 64mb not the 256?!?
:(

6600 256 MB video card is what you ordered?
What the spec sheet for the computer seems to be saying, is it currently has a 64MB onboard graphics controller (or card).
You should be able to upgrade the video card (either AGP or PCI, whichever it slot type it has available).
Gotta admit you have me a bit confused as to what the question is, so its just a guess here.
You may want to add some more RAM as well if that is your computer and you are installing a new video card.
hope this is what you were looking for, and no guarantees on my limited noodle capacity.
cheers,
RTR

Spade , that is an onboard video controller , the Pc does have a 8X agp slot in it , so the 6600 will work fine as long as you ordered the agp version . Just make sure you remove the drivers for the onboard ,and disable it in the bios when you install the 6600 ..
