Title: an unhappy break from the skies.
Post by: Mustaine on September 02, 2005, 10:23:15 AM
once this month paid for is up, i can no longer pay for AH. i do not have a creditcard with avialable credit, and all are past due also, as i am broke.

if i get back on my feet i will fly again, but for now i can not afford it.

i will be flying until the account gets locked, so see you in the air for a few more weeks hopefully (or however long it is)

no , plastic isnt FREE money and neither is credit. Ya have to work for it like the vendors and suppliers had to work to create services and products that  you bought and will not get paid for it.

OH yeah credit card companies don't deserve to get stiffed either, they just raise the costs for everyone else, so in essence failure to pay is stiffing everyone with a card in good standing.

May sound harsh but i've been a sole proprietor since I was 22 yrs old....thats an average of 10-16 hrs a day and in the busy season thats 6-7 days a week.

BTW  I ate peanut butter and jelly for 2 years and lived in a one room studio after having to sell my house to bank roll my loses once because i had foolishly let 40% of my sales depended on one company that filed chapter 7 and stiffed me out of  $66,000

Hope you dont have to go that route and screwww someone else for lack of grit.

Sorry to hear. Hang in there, keep working at it.

BTW, if you've maxed out -- cut up the cards, hit the principal as hard as you can, avoid compounding interest on interest. Most card companies will work with you on interest if you show committment and planning to pay off all your principle over time.

Good luck, and we'll see you when you're back.

Let's not turn this into a discussion about deadbeats maxing out cards and then not paying their bills.

you tulips ever think other expenses in life have gotten higher than income, and someone who works at a company for 7 years might just not be making enough to get by with the doubling of gas prices?

Woh...I hope you weren't reading MY post as being against you.  I was trying to defend you & this thread because I was particularly annoyed by T(urd)alon's comment.

I've been in the same boat as you.  Life certainly is a *****.

lol this just gets better and better.
:rofl
All 73 said was bye and that his credit cards didnt have available credit(which indicates they are maxed out or real close to it since the game is only 14.95$) probably like most everyone else in here. And everyone goes off on some tangent about credit card bums stiffing everyone else ect.If it's so tight that raising gas prices prevent you from paying your bills you probably cant afford to play AH2 anyway. And as far as living on PBJY for a year Join Big Brother. And since depression always comes up around certain players maybe you can get a Dr. statement allowing for the therapeutic affects that AH2 has for you.

p.s. this is going to get flammed

Sorry to hear it man. Life is an interesting thing. Sometimes too interesting. AamRammed hasn't figured that out yet. Even if he is a lousy businessman.

Ouch, I didn't know Mustaine was JB73.

JB73 has a great sense of humor; I can tell by the stuff he uploads at Picture Hangar.  Always been a good guy to exchange emails with, too.  :)

Hey, Jaxxo...I should be having a better month here soon.  Will paypal you some duckets in the near future if you're doing what I think you're doing.

Just let me know:  tbolt@onpoi.net

Hang in there, 73.  :)

Jesus, for all we know, Mustaine is living near NO and the only room he has left is his computer room writing his goodbyes.  Mustaine, I am not a man of money either, but I have another MMO game that i dont play.  If I cancel that account I can afford to front my credit card to pay for your account until your back on your feet.  Shoot me an email at aharmon8@neo.rr.com   Hope things turn around for you.
