Why is it important to know, and why is it interesting?

I wonder what the pice of gas is per gallon at the pumps in those countries.
-
Broke a dollar a liter here recently. I believe it's at $1.15 now.
Let's see...
$4.35 CDN per US gallon.
$3.66 USD per US gallon....wow, it's cheaper than some places in the US, that's a first.
-
it was like a $1.20-40 in cottage country, still cheaper tho in the long run.

over $1.30 a litre up here in the middle of Canada, much worse if you go east or west coast. At a little under 4 litres to the US gallon..well you can do that math. The joys of socialism (see the smile?... me either).

*sigh* ammuricans, paying the same prices as the resta the world fer a litre of petrol.
whoda thunk it.
-
Heh you wish.. In europe the prices are closer to $7 / gallon now. Prices rocketed here also after the news from NO.

What did Harold Macmillan say!
"You've never had it so good"?

Are you guys talking about the price of gas or are you talking about the price of gas and the tax on it combined?
I can't be responsible for what your country fleeces out of you sheep in taxes.

It's important that people know the facts. Most people do not seem to know where we get our oil and make incorrect assumptions.
Granted, it may not really have any impact on anything, but it generally is good to be informed.
-
ummm since US is not lack of oil, but lack of gasoline and lack of raffinery capacity i do not see reason, why should price of Oil raise up in other countries.
however it went up by 5-10% in central europe.

factor in the 290 billion iraq gas tax, the cost in dollars and lives to have sustained a military presence in the middle-east.
you'd be better off leasing the military to the oil companies to recoup the hidden gas taxes.
regardless of what the delusional sheep from the peanut gallery says, you're being fleeced on boths ends.
