Well for starters I have never seen it work like this before but anyways ,Being a dialup player I have no control over what my connection does during a storm .So I frequently find mself losing UDP.
I was flying around in an la5 at about 8k when I run into a n1k .
He was probley 3k below be with half as much E. So I roll over and reverse on him .He pulled an impressive nose down split S and I overshot ..
I pull out of the dive and bring the N1k verticall .At the top oF my rope I stall out as the n1k is D800 spray n pray i lose udp as i pull a hammerhead and begin my decent to the poor floating n1k .HE slowly floats sideways nose up not moving up or falling.. just flying sideways''Normally they zip through the air and have no chance to shoot them'' but he was slowly moving .. so i continue down and light him up frop wingtip to wingtip and expect nothing to happen .
Normally when it switches to tcp after i have seen them warp all over .. they appear back where they should be .. well i looked down after it switched to TCP and seen him falling down wingless ... Obviously he watched me warp if I lost UDP in the middle of the rope .. But did he see me shoot or was it instant when I got tcp that the damage just hit him out of nowhere? AT THE TIME of me shooting him i saw no damage
COULD THAT BE CONSIDERED CHEATING?

I'd say it's only cheating if you know the reason a plane is in your gunsight is because of a bad connection on the shooters part. This will happen to me every now and then, when it does I'll try and leave the area of the fight till things settle out. But sometimes, a bad connection does nothing odd to the movements of other aircraft and I have shot guys down only to realize seconds later that I was in the process of losing UDP. I'll shoot a wing off, feel good about myself, and then see everybody warp around which doesn't give me the best feeling about killing that guy.

Bullz, in my opinion, if you didn't do it on purpose, then it isn't cheating. It is just a quirk of the game. May not be fair in all cases, but it is the way it is.
If however someone jerks a cable or something, yeah, that is cheating. But I don't think that would produce your result, more likely just a disco an no kill.
SO. . . . . . No Cheat. Good Kill.

Sullie normally when i see a storm coming il know my connection is bad so ill stay in a tank or 5 inch gun ..or go on a pork run in la7 and try to avoid the fights .. ''then again u get the idiots that engage u kill and they whine about warping'' lol why engage a warping plane in the first place?? but this was mor along the lines of a perfect connection .. then out of nowhere i lost udp .. had no idea till i seen him warpin then figured wat the hell ill try and once it came back i seen him fallin

Bullz for every one time your connect puts him in "pause" mode in front of your gunsight. There will be 99 times where it costs you. So yeah, go for it.
Its not like your doing anything to CAUSE it do drop connect. That is cheating.
BTW keep shopping around, lots of citys bringing in wireless broadband.
And while it may not be as stable as a DSL connect it sounds like it is probably better than what you have.

yea ghost u talking abouyt the satelite??? buddy of muine has it and the game is unplayable ..sometimes has a ping of over 2000 ..yea like i said i have never seen them sit still normally they are jumpin all over the place .. i said screw it might aswell see wut happens and .. it worked lol..sprint says they should have DSL by the end of the year

Beats having a collision because your enemy warps sideways to your plane. Grrr..

BuLLZ, we've tangled many times and I (have DSL) and have never seen you stutter, warp, etc. You sound like you are just concerned. I would have to deny your concern, because you have no cause to be.
