Many similarities there Daniel. It seems that Citroen, Peugeot and Renault in Spain vs Toyota in Norway are the major differences.

I bet that can be explained with the warranties on rust that the French brands traditionally have given us here in the salty and cold north vs what Toyota has managed.

In Russia it probably looks like this:

1) Lada VAZ-2112 AKA newest Lada for idiots
2) Any rusty used German car
3) Oka VAZ-1111 AKA crazy stool AKA capsule of death AKA skin-tight car
4) Any rusty used Japanese car with stirring wheel at the right side (in Far East they think about switching to left-side traffic)
5) Lada VAZ-2109 AKA Chisel
6) Any not-very rusty Korean car
7) Lada VAZ-21099 AKA Chisel for gangster wannabes
6) Niva  VAZ-2123 AKA Tank
8) 1993 model new Korean car made in Uzbekistan AKA Daewoo Nexia
9) Lada VAZ-2107 AKA "Lada-classic" AKA FIAT-124
10) Volga GAZ-31029 AKA Barge

Design of points 2, 3 and 6 are usually newer then Russian-made cars.
