Of course.

Now "I" take over the TV at 10.00pm every Sunday night (we are an hour ahead of EST).  No more "Six Feet Under" or "Desperate Housewives" nonesense.

I was actually kind of excited about that show, but I don't have a TV in my room.

Which I'm actually beginning to not miss.

If it is any good it will come out on DVD and I will rent it and not have to put up with the HBO crap movies and one big commercial for itself.

Your Eagles get to put a whooping on my boys in November.  Who knows, maybe our 27th ranked defense is better since we cleaned house...:huh (or not..) ;)

This series is excellent. imho, the best HBO series since the Sopranos.

"If you get me out of here I'll gladly sacrifice a goat to you! Well, failing that if I can't get one at a good price, 6 pidgeons!"

Seen all 3 episodes so far, hooray for I-Control.

I thought Caligula was a more representative and substantive adaptation of true Roman life.  It is an inspired film that shows depth and suspense.  The portrayals showed incredible depth and substance.

Discovery is also running a week all about Rome.  Last night was the engineering episode.  It was quite fascinating.

I dunt get HBO, but will probably get the DVD(s) when it(they) become(s) available.

Houston. See, I thought we were only gonna have a second episode available and I don't normally get to see it when it's actually on. That's why I pay the extra for I-Control and get to watch it when I want. I was kinda suprised to see Episode 2 & 3 both already on there at the same time, but I'm not about to complain. Just wait till you see what happens to Titus at the end of Ep3 :)

Also got to see the making of Rome, the 15 minute Slaves of Rome special, & the 10 minute Women of Rome special all in 1 sitting. I-Control is worth every penny of the extra $3 a month. I don't watch any of the premium channels normally anymore. I just pick out whatever I feel like watching and hit play.

Hi Guys,

Don't get HBO myself so I'm going to have to wait till I can get the series on DVD via Netflix. Last night however, I broke out the "I, Claudius" series on DVD for perhaps the 33 time. (My wife's  comment: "not again, surely") Really is an excellent adaptation of the lives of the first four Caesars.

I saw two versions of this.  The first one was the one they had cut out alot of the porn etc.  When I saw it I could NOT understand what all the fuss was about.  Then I saw the uncut version.

Not exactly a fun filled nit at the movies for the whole family pretty much sums it up.  ;)

But...I thought it was pretty darn good.  Malcolm McDowell was GREAT...I viddied well brother.

Just watched 2 first episodes...

lotsa humpin` in em.... :D

But really, it gets boring after a while , I get the idea from less also.  If I want to watch nekkid women and good banging I know where to find it, better to leave Rome-series for good battles and stuff.

Cut version? LOL That must have reduced its running length by almost half. Sheesh the orgy scene at the end must be dern near a half hour long.

Not your typical pron movie though and if anyone watches it just for that they probably wont like it as its really not that kind of pron. Well it is..but it isnt

Was a pretty good movie though. If memory serves correct  Peter Otoole and the guy that played the butler in the movie "Arthur" was in it also no?

I know they guy who played the butler was in it (name escapes me) I remember seeing him in an interview where he was saying he somehow signed the contract to be in it before he read the script and couldnt get out of it once he did read it.

Just checked. Otoole was in it

Here's the movie fone writeupCaligula (http://movies.aol.com/movie/main.adp?tab=synop&mid=2717&date=20050912&uid=5532)

This show is absolutely awesome.  It is one of four shows that I make sure I sit down to watch (those being 24, Rome, Deadwood and now Lost after my old roommate got me hooked on it).

HBO is making some great shows lately.  It has the best show on TV (Deadwood) and some other great series, miniseries, and movies.

Deadwood
Rome
Carnivale
Sopranos
Band of Brothers
Entourage
