Do we really need them.?
I fly over a wooded area and looking in zoom I cant see the vehicle yet in normal view I see the icon flash on/off.
I can see a dot of a vehicle from a ac at some distance so when I go looking why do I need an icon when the GV itsself starts to be rendered?
If its not hiding in a wood then I can see it without the "look at me light" on top of it.
Could the initial dot be held in some way such that there is not a period when the dot is gone but the object rendering is missing or too vague. (like a gguns dot)
Troop and chute icons similarly (freindly and enemy)
