I liked the scene from the rear with the Spitfires - it showed how well the camoflauge pattern and colors blened in with the ground.
I love the sounds - I also played it over and over 'til my wife told me to knock it off...:(

Edited to add - you gotta go to his website and watch the "1942" and "1945" movies!  TOtally unbelievable that they are CGI until the closeup of the kid in "1945".
As stated before, somebody's gotta hire that guy to do a full length feature WWII movie about something like the battle of Midway, the Marianas Turkey Shoot, etc.

He's a CGI Ninja. Nothing else is known, because Ninjas keep to themselves.

His site and the two aviation movies get posted here quite a bit.

It says that he's 41, from Kyushu originally and started working as an assistant in the manga (Japanese comic) business. He started doing CG and animations for tv commercials in 2002 and work just started coming to him.
Looks like he is might be freelance now

He doesn't live that far from me. Maybe I'll send him an email and see if I can buy him a beer sometime. Incredible stuff.

Sounds like Stephen Hawkings on VOX:D

I agree, get this guy with Spielberg and make "The Flying Tigers" or something.

The only time it looked cgi was when the mossie put its gear down for some reason, but the rest was incredible.

Wonder if Steven Spielberg knows about this guy?    I'm sure they could make one incredible WWII air combat movie together.

Sure if you fancy the spit being piloted by a modern day pilot who timewarped mysteriously back in time.

Doing so he manages to rescue a whole farm full of religious people who are in dire straits in modern day by preventing the historic justice done to them in land deals.

That and I think ol' Stevie boy has plenty of bucks to be spent on industrial light and magic if need be.

The clip "stunt" shows he loves the Corsair.  He is a bit too pointed and repetitive in showing the flamability of Japanese planes (I think)  But I'm in awe of people who can do this...
