We are #6 behind Brazil, Argentina, the Dutch, the Czechs, and Mexico.

What is the world coming to?

the qualifiers are vastly more difficult in europe as the teams are of a higher calibre.

that is not taking anything away from you of course, you can only beat who you are playing against - and you have done extremely well.

sooo, no qualifier matches, no scores for the FIFA rankings (afaik).

hehe, what an awesome excuse, because admittedly our team pretty much sucks right now. We lost in slovakia last weekend, that was almost as bad as september 1st, 2001.

anyway, see you guys next year! :)

We beat Mexico to qualify, and send our 3rd string to Guatamala to finish the tournament. Mexico needs to win their remaining games to qualify. So the Tourney ends up with Mexico in 1st place (we tied Guatamala) and ranked ahead of us.

Post by: Panzzer on September 09, 2005, 08:25:07 AM: FIFA = Fédération Internationale de Football Association. I guess they do play football in Fiji, although they don't seem to be in the World Cup 2006 (http://fifaworldcup.yahoo.com/06/en/) qualification.

redwing, i disagree totaly, the team we have right now
is lightyears better then the past years. The team gets
better and better, and yes losing a game can happen.

I've never seen it on TV before or been to a match, played in high school, absolutely hated it, only reason I played is football coach wanted me to get quick footwork down and he thought soccer would work, it actually did but I still think its a dumb sport.
