It's great.  Frenchy will love the street tire model, very slippery.
Takeda and I are teammates in the race today, info here:  http://lfsforum.net/forumdisplay.php?&f=41

Just tried the demo ... oh boy ... loved it. Finally a car with a cockpit, and powersliding approved by Frenchy.

So I buy S1 or S2 or both?

Buying S2 gives you both.
Post/PM your gameID, I'll join you guys when I get some free time from Uni.

If you liked the Demo... wait till you've got the FZR setup comfy and start shredding tires left and right in trailbrakes and exit slides.. the thing just sits on its bellybutton and ****s right off.:D

LX4/6 do it well too, but its just not the same without the 500horse engine in the rear and those meaty contact patches.

LFS is awsome.  I remember s1 was actually released during the con a year and a half ago.  It takes lots of time to get good at driving it, but the rewards are great.

I suck with the high powered cars, but there are other pleasures:

The UF1000, a mini knockout, which tops at about 80 mph, but is hilarious while racing other 20 mad minis on a short and twisty track.
And the Formula XR, a well balanced F3-Like open-wheeler that makes for crazy close racing.

How does the multiplayer work? P2P or arena server or what?

I'll definitely find a way to race if you guys organize something.
Multiplayer servers are listed via the master lfs server. You click a few times for the server list and connect to the one you want. There's a few sorting options to filter out the carsets you don't want.

I'm up for anything as long as i'm awake when it happens.
Someone has to lose if there's to be a winner :)

Ok for me. though as of late I've discovered Grand Prix Legends (yes, I'm late) and I'm getting a rank there (still +215, but down from the initial +370 in a week).
Well, after the slippery 67' F1 monsters, any LFS car should be a piece of cake.

GTR cars on AS Historic would be great for Funked & me, we need to practise that ;)

Will be busy Sat. evening (GMT+3), but should be available anytime from tonight till sunday night for sure if we agree on a meeting time.

tried GPL again, and it's a ***** getting those things around :)  Too much understeer, even at Zandvoort on a loose setup.
