When i try offline my plane takes off and flies at warp speed!...It's like a boxed sim's time compession x16.

It's been doing this for a while now, I noticed it before 2.05, but I didn't try offline before 2.04, so I'm not exactly sure when it wigged out.

Out of curiousity, do you preload textures?

I've seen this before 2.05, and submitted a bug report on it, but HTC didn't get around to commenting.  

In my case, the workaround is completely exiting and then reentering the game.  With my typical game settings, this problem always happens the first time I run AH after booting the PC.  Online it corrects itself once other players are visible, but offline, the AH restart is always needed.  

BTW, in my case, although the game runs 6-10 or so times (600%-1000%) faster than it should, the frame rate shown by is 1/6 - 1/10 normal.

same problem, runs fine online, super speed offline.  offline 2.04 worked fine.

I just reloaded the game . I had thought this "bug" was a new feature , glad to hear it's NOT :)

I can't even hit the drones anymore with me going so fast  and them not .

My frame rate sucks too

AMD 3000 , 256 mb 5700 Nvida video card , 1 gig 2400 DDR ram .

hey Guys, I had the same problem, Here's a Fix:

So far as I know you will have to reinstall from scratch.  

Install version 205 but do not Connect to the server and update to 205.1 *Yet*

Install the Hires Skins and any other addons you want at this point. It will be fast in offline mode until you connect to the server and update to the latest patch.
