Thinking about doing a P-51B from the 354th FG - "Beantown Banshee". Anyone know if the noseart is present on both sides of the fuselage?

Also, just curious - anyone know of a nice skin for a P47 or P-51 that commemorates New Orleans in some way? I understand "Big Easy" and "Crescent City" are nicknames for New Orleans, if that helps at all.
Thanks!

I think it's a safe bet that the nose art was only on the left side. That was general practice with the right side belonging to the Crew Chief if he was so inclined.
Do you have the Osprey book on 9th and 15th AF Mustang Aces? There is a profile of that bird in there with info too.
Found a B24 with New Orleans Nose art

Bout the best I could come up with so far :)

Ah, thanks Dan! You don't disappoint! I think I have that Osprey book in my collection - I'll have to dig it out.
Thanks for the N.O. B-24 find. I think that tail marking in the game already though. I wonder though, about any B17s commemorating New Orleans. What with the B17 redo and all, might be a fitting subject...
