Hey bud, I found this file the other day, thought you might like it. Note to other BBS readers, I am NOT trying to claim I am in any way better than him by posting this. I just got lucky is all.

Nice flying, was a fun fight :)

Just not sure how I could screw up like I did though, had all the advantages cept maybe fuel load.

couldnt land the 30mm on the niki, only peashooters, had to rope him in the end to make sure i hit the bastige :D

Thats what happens when you fly the easy mode N1K too much, it screws up your gunnery. I spent a tour in the typh and when I went back to normal guns I couldn't hit squat.

i dont know why some say the nik is so easy to hit with. I cant hit squat. Im probably the only tool in the MA who lands 6 kills with no ammo left in a nik. But i can land 10 in a tempest and have more than half ammo left.

Or maybe you meant something else Ed?

The quad 20s in the N1K aren't as easy as the quad hizookas, didn't mean to imply that. But it is easier (for me at least) to kill with the N1ks guns than the tater.

niks guns take some time getting used to, the shell velocity is so low you may as well be using a tennis ball launcher.

ah ok rgr that. I found it eaiser to hit with the 30mils probably due to the fact that i get in so much closer than I do with 20s. Also with the Nik i spray alot more than i would in a tiffy at shots I wouldnt take in a tiffy.heh

Well Hispanos are extremely easy to use, I tried a Hurricane last night, first time for a very very long time. Blew my enemies out of the sky ALOT easier then I do with any other gun, specially compared to MG 151. Trajectory of Hispanos made it all easy and hitting power made it all quick. Two hits in a wing and it came off (Then Zazen ended my life with a hit or two in my tail).
