Title: Mass dumps
Post by: Howitzer on September 18, 2005, 12:19:42 AM
Can the folks at HTC give us a heads up to when these mass server dumps are going to happen?  I would normally not complain about an outage here and there, but it seems every weekend around 11-12 CST there is a mass dump of the server.  Happened 2 times tonight and as of 12:15 I can't get back in.  I can understand about maintenance windows and what not, but I'm afraid its passed a point where it is getting mega annoying.  Any advance warning or even an identification of a pattern would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

Seems to be a local, regional, or even continental thing.

The most notorious of the mass dumps recently was some months ago, which had the entire subscribers from continents east of the Atlantic ocean get discod again and again - which soon led to the outbreak of discontent against Saavis.
