Ok.. I guess I probly seen about 30 minutes total since I even heard there was a hurricane named katrina.. I probly tuned in once for 15 minutes and the rest was seeing stuff my girlfriend had on before I realized what I was seeing and left the room...
I don't get a paper and never watch news shows unless it is an important election (for results) or good war stuff... maybe a terrorist attack that is particularly bloody or interesting... that's about it..

Rule 5.

I've probably "read" more about it than watched TV. I rarely watch TV unless its History channel, Discovery CHannel, or football.
I'd say probably 30 min to 1 hours worth. Enough to determine that my money was needed to help them....
-
Dunno.. 20 or 30 hours perhaps more.
I usually have BBC or CNN on in my office when im there.
-
alot :(
sometimes there is not an option to turn the channel.

About as much as you, lazs2.

I'm a "storm chaser" so i know some stuff about weather,
i watch it on a daily base (mainly weather forums). even its
far away, especialy if it start to look big & dangerous like
Kathrina, we talked alot about until it hit New Orleans that
hard, nobody really expected this hard impact though.
-
didnt watch to much saw the damage first hand. sure is boring in lodi today
-
I never understood why they call them "Storm Chasers", it's not like you can scare the storm somewhere else.

You don’t watch the news Lazs? I suppose that means that you missed the latest story about zombies overrunning Callifornia?

That was called the Democratic Party and it occured in the 60's. I think Lazs knows very well of the zombies that have overrun California. A few of them post on this board! :D (Read my signature, open season on Zombies, baby! :p)

Regan was a democrat?

3 minutes, in approx 2 second veiwings while changing the channel.
and approximatly 2500 words on this BBS.
-
Don't watch the news here, and avoided watching much on Katrina.
I notice the news in Cali now (radio news in car you cant avoid) is all about how were are going to have a mega qauke and title wave.
The news is all about scaring you into watching more.
When did the news stop being about news and start being about ratings?

Damn thats an old story.
Started happening in the mid to late 60's.
Now Im hearing they make up about 85% of the population;)
-
I watched enough to get tired of it and come to the conclusion that yes its a sad sad story but I've got more important things to worry about.
Like my own life LOL
-
did curval say something mean?
I knew the zombies had took over... I don't watch the news but I get out a lot.
Charities? Katrina? I don't know rip... If the charities I give to use anything to help the victims of katrina then that is their business. they know better than I do about such things.

well when it fiurst happened i didn't realize how devasting it was. then they said it would put up 9-11 numbers so i watched. the same old news got boring so i stopped watching. but while i'm watching football and baseball every timeout or break in the game they talk about it and show a clip on it so i would say about 40 hours.
