The Jug you posted is a war weary razorback used by the 5th Rescue Squadron, so it wasn't really a frontline combat Jug at the time

Technically not a Malcom hood on the Spit. Definately a blown canopy like the Malcom.

There are still folks who think all the Malcom was on a Mustang was a Spitfire canopy. Not that the size or shape would even remotely fit :)

lol fair enough, that told me :)

was it just the same company that developed the RAF Mustang hoods and the Spitfire hoods?
