hmmm looks interesting. Anyone trying it? I'm on Firefox and love it. It'll have to beat that for me to move.
-
Opera has been around for years and its a very good and fast browser. I have used it abit before but i never liked the ad-banner, and paying for a browser is just retarded.
I use it on my wintel now.

It's now free.

Is it worth looking into?

I used to be an Opera user till Firefox came out. Opera started to become bloated and slow while Firfox was quick and slick. But Firefox will bog down incredibly when I go to use it after it's been minimized for a while.
So I'm trying Opera again and so far so good. Firefox let's you manage cookies easier while Opera let's you see em ALL (much more than Firefox IMO) if you select the option to ask what to do with it each time you get one. and no more pop-ups at all. Lately it seems some websites had found a way around Firefox's pop up blocker as I now get them sometimes.

Nilsen, how is Opera on a Mac? Have you tried it?
-
Yup, I use it every day. Works great, but it is abit "bigger" than safari so i use it mostly for banking and other office use.
On my wintel it is my standard browser.
-
I use Opera. I prefer it to Fire Fox or IE.

"Adblock extension"
Sweet! I got that running now and it fixed one (of only two) major issue I've had with Firefox. Thanks

I finally got around to adding Adblock. Until now, I've been blocking adware right at the router.
This is pretty sweet.

If you want a head start, here's my blocked list. You can import it through Tools>Adblock>Preferences, and then right-click.

Sweet. Thanx!

Ran opera for ages, till I really bit down and put firefox in full blown mode.
Deleted Opera after it sat idle for a year.
But, YMMV and whatever works for you.
-
I looked at your list SOB... I had quite a few of those already.
I didn't do the import though. It's rather fun to go from site to site and then killing ad after ad.
It's a big hearty **** you to the marketing ****heads.

Hehehe, it is nice to have the power, eh? :)
