Anyone watching this? Great stuff.
-
It's TiVo'd.
Will watch later.
-
Best comedy I've seen on network TV. Reminded me of "Nobody's Baby". But then, I love white trash comedy.
-
That does it.
Folks at work have been talking about it lots... trying to get me to watch it. It's on inna coupla hours so I'll give the girl a whirl.
-
I think you'll like it. It's like a daytime hooker, something special.

same here. The wife wants to watch the premeir of Nip/Tuck tonite. Not a bad show.
-
Oh yeah, I love the Nip/Tuck. And there's hockey this year. So all they gotta do now is get the Sopranos back and I'll basically be staying indoors every night this winter.

I'm grandfathered in... About eight years ago, I started out with PrimeStar. They offered local stations for both east and west coast. DirecTV bought out PrimeStar, but the have to honor the agreement.
So... I have the low number stuff... 2 thru whatever that covers my actual local stuff, but I have 380-388 that gives me four more (one for each network) east coast channels and four more west coast channels.
At one time, you couldn't get east coast programming on the west coast even if you asked for it. I'm not sure if that's still the case. I think there was some legal issue.
Anyway... I have an enormous amount of flexibility when it comes to TiVo.

"...muscles don't buy MadDog"
LOL! :D

Just got done watchin' it.
Meh... I dunno. I've never seen redneck humor done right, and this doesn't look like the exception. Too easy and plain. But my favorite albums are the ones I started out hating, and this is worth another look.

That's funny and it didn't even spoil it for me. This show is hilarious.

Yup, looks promising...
It also looks good on my HDTV, im sure "My name is Earl" is recorded on a wide screen movie film then presented in 1080i mode.
-
black Earl Jr - funny show
-
Hey Crab guy!
My wife and I definately enjoyed this, it's going on our rotation. It's not often that a pilot tickles us so well.
Bones, on the otherhand, sucked the paint off our ReplayTV. It was getting progressively worse, but the breaking point for me was when they activated the 3D hologram mode for reconstructing the skeleton. Then I was off. Wifey stuck around to watch the end, and when I came downstairs a half hour later (having killed many surly teenagers in Desert Combat with the lightning swift pouncing justice of my Apache helicopter) she assured me that it had not gotten better.

Kill your television.
TV is the opium den of modern man. Pastime of the undead.

"...I even pulled out my good boob!"
Had it Tivo'd and just watched it. Laughed my butt-off.
"Homosexual...Americans?"
-
Bones? Looks like that MAD TV skit, where the cheesy 80s singer sings what is happening for every scene.

Pretty funny show... we'll give it some more looks with a season pass. :)
-
what ever happened to that comedy "The Mulletts" it was on regular tv for a little bit, I watched about 5 different episodes and I thought it was hillarious... I guess it got cancelled or something... "Titus" was also a good redneck comedy show when it was on
-
Titus was not so much a redneck comedy as a dysfunctional comedy.
If you like "Earl" you should watch "Nobody's Baby" with Skeet Ulrich and Gary Oldman. And remember, never loan your chapstick.
