Why is there an X-wing in one of the screenshots?  Is it a mod made by modifying a different mod?

I did a quick search... Damn, Freespace 2 is an expensive game.

This was done with the FS2_OPEN which is an open source project. When its done you won't pay anything for it. But its uses the FS2 engine that has been heavily modified by the open source community since the late 99.

Hmmm... seems odd that it's being sold for $75-$150 on Amazon.

Rephase - not being manufactured - limited supply, hence high cost. There was a guy on here that was hosting the iso's awhile back.
