I hope so.  The Bf109G-14 is one of the aircraft in v2.06 I am most looking forwards too.

Please, please, please give me a Bf109G-14 and Spitfire LF.Mk VIII in AH v2.06.  Please. :D

The Bf109G-10 was replaced by the Bf109K-4.

We are hoping to get an all new Bf109G-14 to fill the very large gap between the Bf109G-6 (early 1943, 386mph) and Bf109K-4 (late 1944, 452mph).  The Bf109G-14 (early 1944, 414mph) would help fill that gap.

Can't wait to see those new birds fly in v2.06, I Really like what they've done so far on the K-4 and G-6. GJ HTC, keep up the good work.

All I know is I'd better not hear one more Luftwaffe fan complain about the RAF fans asking for more then one Spit IX

G2, G6, G14 and K4

Kinda sounds a lot like Spit LFVIII, Spit LFIXE and clipped LFXVIe to me along with the Spit XIV

Go backwards and it's the Spit I and 109E and the Spit V with the 109F

Sounds about even to me :)

Yes, I would like my P-38 with the dual 37mm cannons and 12x .50 caliber machine guns and super turbo Allison engines.  I saw this plane in Secret Weapons over Normandy, so I want it in AH.

Bf109E-4 vs Spitfire Mk Ia
Bf109F-4 vs Spitfire Mk Vb
Bf109G-2 vs Spitfire F.Mk IX
Bf109G-6 vs Spitfire LF.Mk VIII
Bf109G-14 vs Spitfire LF.Mk XVIe
Bf109K-4 vs Spitfire F.Mk XIV

???????? vs Seafire L.Mk III

I guess that the ???????? would have to be Japanese.  A6M5, N1K2-J, Ki-61-I-Tei or Ki-84-I-Ko.  Maybe an Fw190 would cover the extra Spit.  The Seafire is kind of a special case as it is Fleet Air Arm, not RAF.

Why does everything have to be even? If everything would have to be even HTC would have to add Japanese, Russian and Italian planes ONLY for the coming years.

Be happy with what is added, no matter from what nation it belonged.

Yeah its a mistake to make comparisons and assumptions like that.

One advance or new variant helps drive another rather then 1 vs 1 plane.

Just because there's one more of one plane type doesn't mean there should be equal numbers of all other planes.

The G-14 (not AS) was mostly utilized in the Ostfront anyway. Its altitude performance wasn't better then a G-6. On the western front (where it would face Spits and Ami planes) you would have seen the G-14/AS.

The G-2 really isn't a match for the  F.Mk IX. Spit IX (and 16lb Spit V) was more in response to the 190A etc...

When/where did HTC say we were getting a G14?

Wilbus,

I don't think it must be even and I am happy to get any new aircraft, but some seem to be really picky about it so I figured I'd list off the varients we are hoping for.

Bruno,

Be happy, the Spit V is being reduced to +12lbs boost.:D

Tilt,

They didn't.  We are feeling hopeful because they are adding the Spit XVI and fixing the Spit IX (fixed like you "fix" a cat mind you, but it will carry the correct armament options).

I've already lost any hope for some new Italian plane (looking other pastures for that), but i'll love to see some new addition in RAF, Japan, and URSS planeset.

There's little more (important)  to add to the RAF planeset, but I think a must are the Beaufighter, the Wellington, The bleheinem (I have lost the spelling), the Gladiator, The swordfish, and last, but not least, the Meteor.

As for the URSS and Japan planeset there's a huge list.

Tilt,

In here mostly:

http://www.hitechcreations.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=156716

The thread becomes a bit of a train wreck about +25lbs boost in the Spit XVI though.

+18lbs looks fine to me right now.

I know Karnak, I didn't really aim my reply at you ;)

I think a dedicated, unarmed Mosqutio bomber is a must for the RAF too. Should be added in time for ToD even.

I agree, but should it be the early B.Mk IV that was war weary, but still in use to the end, the rare B.Mk IX or the B.Mk XVI introduced in 1944?  If only one it would almost have to be the light bombload, comparitiavely slow B.Mk IV.  I'd like the B.Mk IV and B.Mk XVI both myself.

Pointless though when there were so few and they had so many problems with gun stoppages etc.

Too many operational Spit types that worked to wish for, before the small numbers didn't really do the job types :)

My point was more directed to those few who scream when the RAF/Spit fans ask for a different version of the Spit IX.

The cry comes up "You already have a Spit IX!"

As with the 109G there were different variants on the IX

The Spit drivers are left with a 1942 Spit IX at this point.

Personally I don't 'expect' anything.  I'm perfectly content driving around in my beat up old P38G :)

Rgr Guppy understood. I am quite happy with anything new we get. The RAF will be getting a Spit 16 now too so not just the 1942 mark 9.
