Invasion of Sicily: July 10, 1943
As the Canadian forces push into the rear of Sicily, the battle in Italy heats up. Canadian forces pound defensive positions along the coast line with lead ace George Beurling leading the RCAF in kills. The RCAF also launch a series of heavy raids outside Siscly against known ANR/Luftwaffe strongholds.

Actually, since it was July 1943, it was RA (Regia Aeronautica) rather than ANR (Aeronautica Nazionale Repubblicana).
!

109g6 should be there too

Wherent Jugs used in the invasion of Sicily???

Isnt it a 109F4 rather than a 190F4?
-
109F-4 is it. Yes, the RCAF had jugs, but not too many and later on in the war. Several CT players are concerned about the Tiffie. But for 1943, she was one of the fastest CAS/JABO attackers out there - Germany had nothing at the time to catch them.
And are you sure about the RN vs the ANR? I thought that after August, the ANR disappeared and the RN stepped up, but I might be wrong.

for this setup, you should pull teh pizza map out of teh mothballs...

This is one FUN setup when you're flying the G2. Really nice match ups. They're all great fun.

The Regia was active, more or less, up to September's armistice. Then after a while, italian pilots splitted between ANR and co-belligerant air force.
The C.205 should fly mainly with the 2x7mm and 2x12,7mm version, i.e. the Ist series.
BTW, nice event! !
