Well then I should be shot also For I never fly the LA-7, I can't stand that plane.
For my HOing purposes I much prefer the YAK-9T :D It's absolutely amazing how many people will accept a HO from a field gun with wings.

That's right! If you suck sooo bad you cannot land a HO with the squad plane you are allowed to train in the "field gun with wings." Although you will require extended training beyond the 6 month 'noob' course in order to enter phase two.

And um the YAK-9T is actually the advanced HOing plane as you only have 32 rounds to HO with so you actually have to aim and be conservitive on ammo in order to get enough kills to land. Then there is the problem of speed, the 9T is much slower than the LA LA so it's not so easy to just run. :)

Just to keep the record straight I have also been known to HO people with my B-26, A6M, KI-84 and last night I did it in a KI-61 but didn't have as much luck with that one. :p

Really? No luck with the 61? I'd think it would be pretty good at it as compared to a zero or KI84. 61 has the cannons in the nose as opposed to the other 2?

Well this is the 2nd time I've ever taken the 61 out in a serious fight so maybe I should fly it more. And I never just spray or I would never land any kills in my YAK or A6M2. I think I lost on the HO because the other guy was in one of the larger guned german rides. I don't remember 190 or 109. :) I'll try again though. :D

Set up the same as can do the same as above, but when the flag drops - everyone bail out...

Last one alive with his .45 wins. Just like a gang rumble....
