Yes.  I tried it. Don't bother.

I can't believe how badly the graphics and FMs suck.  Their data is weird too.

They claim that the Spitfire MkXIV has a top speed of 393mph at 19,000ft and is powered by a Griffon IV.

Some Plane's graphics are nice, ground graphics suck, FM feels wierd, cockpit graphics suck. Didn't even bother to take screenshots...

Ya I know its a beta.

My opinion, having played FA for a few years and being a sysop there, is that it is indeed designed for the masses.  It has it's own niche and fills it pretty well; their nightly population was well above AH and WB combined on most nights.  I have nothing bad to say about FA, it was a lot of fun, I just prefer AH now.

154mb???? Good cod. After seeing many screen shots I'm wondering just what the heck kind programs that 154mb installs on your PC because HTC does much better and with a tenth less.

Yep Westy!

Im amazed what HTC does with less than 20MB. toejam, other games have patces five times as big and often not just one.

For all my squeaking here and all my suggestions as to what AH does bad I really do think HTC kicks bellybutton and do everything in a proffesional and top notch way. Another thing, AH is amazingly efficent and stable. It ran extremly well on my old dying PII 333mhz and slow 8MB video card.
