I have done new terrain tiles editing the old HTC's default ones:

Everything else is ok, I can see those hills in the TE, but they are not visible in the game. Is it because of the old HTC's basic tiles I have used? Skuzzy has not updated them (look the Sticky in this forum)...

The default tiles or only text files, I dont see why they would cause any problem. My rock tiles show the hills just fine and I have all the same hill as in your screenshot except the large lighter colored one, I would sugest removing or replacing that one and see what happens.

Very interesting: they are really there but invisible! My tanks are going up and down over invisible hills and it is looking like flying...

zmeg: are they really showing in the game, too?
I have tried everything, I changed the index numbers to hills that they beginning from 0 (zero), but it don't affect anything. Hills are there, but not visible! HELP!

Yes they show up in game, in fact I've been trying to duplicate your problem and I can't find a way to make them invisable. Did you alter the shapes in AC3D?

They are HTC's default shapes; hill0, hill1... etc.
Can you tell me step by step how you built your terrain cell tiles that they're working?
Ps. Have you e-mailed to me after I asked you to send me some of your maps earlier here? My e-mail was corrupted 1-2 weeks and I have missed some messages.
Please send me some of your maps (res-file is ok) that I can observe them! I can send to you my newest Karelia map! :)

Did you try deleting the cache folder for both the editor and the game? Also try taking everything out of the userlib folder before you build the tile.
I sent you one of my maps with custom tiles, it's pretty big, hope you got lots of room in your inbox.

Zmeg tested on of my tile and it worked good with him. Also BlauK see them in his computer. BlauK has also some curious "white houses" which should be there visible:

Two questions:
1) What is happending in my computer/Offline game because I don't see those shapes? I have the newest versions of the game and editors (2.05 Patch 1). I have ATI Radeon 9600 XT video card with the ATI Catalyst 4.12 drivers.
2) Why those two houses (farm1 and farm2) are white in BlauK's computer? He has Club3D Radeon X800XT PE 256mb video card.

Also notice how the forrests look kind of weird in the game and TE screenshots. There are some horizontal surfaces which should perhaps be vertical.

Farm1 and farm2 have been invisable for me since the first version of 2.05, I just took them off all my tiles.

One "farm2" is visible to me, also to BlauK!
