IN BRITAIN, concerns about FlightSim being used as a tool to teach terrorists have caused two major retailers, Virgin Megastores and Woolworths, to yank the program from their shelves. A third merchant, HMV, is reported to be considering such a move.

I'm sorry, but software doesn't kill people. People kill people. This is just silly.

Human nature when adjusting to a new situation.  We almost always go the extreme, then to the other extreme, then the middle ground.
Some act it out, others don't, some good, some bad, some just watch.  I expect a lot of questionable actions will occur over the next few months.

This is almost laughable, I haven't noticed them dragging "Counterstrike, Solder of Fortune" etc off the shelves, I think most will agree Take off (Don't hijack it until it's in the air), Landing (Doesn't even enter into the equasion) are the hard bits, You don't need an in depth knowledge of the controls to fly it into a building.

Those terrorists were communicating via Internet from library computers. That what you can get from teaching people typing...

I will go demand CompUSA to pull that dangerous "Mavis Beacon Teaches Typing" from their shelves before it's too late...

If you could not relate before, maybe you can now relate to those of us who support the 2nd amendment.

oh yeah, remove all the cardboard boxes in the world too. If we have boxes that need to be opened, well... you'll need box cutters then...

What about online sims??  Do you think there might have been some pressure or suggestions to shut down some online sims.   Also isnt possible that the FBI is right now reviewing a list of all users of online sims and their accounts??
OMG they could be reading this post right now!!
