Rain is good.
I love the rain.
I like it more then sunny days.
Rain brings back fond memories of my youth!
Only bad thing about rain is driving in it with retards who don't know that rain means going 90 and tail gating is a good way to die.

Rain ROCKS!!!!
Everytime it rains I save money. A lack of rain means that the tank under my house runs dry and is automatically topped up by a water service. Water bills this summer were as high as $300.

How does that work? Is that tank used for drinking water, or is it just for sinks and toilets and such? Is that water treated, or is it "as is" out of the sky and storage tank?

Every house has its own tank. We use it for everything...drinking washing etc. "as is".
No fresh water supply on the island.

If your annual rainfall was less than six inches per year, you would think differently.

Where does the water service get water?
-
Ponders the cost of a pipeline from Seattle to Curvals house ... you can sell off the excess ... Beleive me we get plenty of rain .

From desalination plants and also from large water-catches they own.

Ok im starting a new business.. I'll take my boat and tow icebergs from Nilsen to Curval.
Ow much would i get for for a million liter of frozen water?
-
lol...problem with that is storage, Nilsen.
Where the heck am I going to store a million gallons/litres of frozen water?
Alot of people are now considering de-salination equipment for their homes as the cost has come down alot and portable equipment is available....but you need to be kiving right on the water for that...I don't.
