Lastnight I upped a tiger and got 30 kills in it before I died.  The cost for the tiger before I spwned was 52 perks.  When I died it was 53 perks.  I lost 58.6 perks, how is this with 30 kills?

It's a bug where your kills are ADDED to the loss. I thought it went away because it hasn't happened to me for a while.

Slightly off this subject, I killed a Tiger with an M16 the other day. Shot it in the track like a madman; the track pops off and I stop shooting, but start shooting again to annoy him. Then he blows up. No one else hit him either...was teh awesome. :D

that happened to me last night..... seriously... how can 4 .50 cals knock out a tank... i understand knocking out the track... but killing???

Odd, I hear you can't knock out a Tiger if you drop several 1000lb bombs on the turrent.  :D

This bug has been around since day 1 of the Tiger. Reported over and over. I figure it's HTC's way of saying if you're gonna take a Tiger, you better land those kills.

The usual 'excuse' is quote -"you killed the pilot/driver".
I've also killed one with an Osty, total BS, shouldn't happen, but will continue to happen until HT finally gets around to fixing the totally porked GV damage model.

Side armor would prevent driver kill from 600 yrds from 4x.5 guns. Besides, I hit him on the spot that smokes (Exact center of the tred). I bet this could be easily replicated offline, but I'm having technical difficulties.

Just use a pintle to find the spot that puts out a grey puff on the track, kill it so it's a fresh Tiger, get an M16, and unload on the spot. If the track pops, keep firing. I bet it will go "boom" ;)

say what you will but i feel it is very unfair to up a tiger worth 42 perks...kill 42 panzers and 3 tigers ...get killed and still lose 41 perks....somehow its just not fare....the ENY or perk or something needs to change....it may be easy to get kills in a tiger and a tiger can be tough to beat SOMETIMES but to lose that many perks when you get that many kills is retarded:furious

RE: M16 vs Tigr:

You shot his tracks off, and started pinging him to annoy you. If he towers out because he's disabled you get the kill, even if you didn't "kill" him. He gets a capture.

Negative, he EXPLODED, complete with that buggy rotation that sometime happens with a fast kill. It wasn't a disco; he stayed on Roster for a while after.

Ever go trigger happy on a Tiger with an Osti and kill shoot yourself with the rounds deflecting up? :confused:
 I think I had it happen once, but I was in tank town so I could of died from something else. :noid

tigers and all gv's are easy kills with bombs, all u need are 250lbers, or 500-1000 lbers if u cant aim well, just make sure u come straight down and drop it on top of it... i've killed tigers all day long with 250lbers in spits... if your not getting kills on gv's with 1000 lbers your either missing completely by a good 10-20 yards or something funky is goin on with your system or connect or something like that....

on a second note i think that the damage model on the M16 and especially the osti needs to be lowered, I have dumped 100 rounds of 20mm's into an M16 and watched all the sprites hit and nothin happens to them, or dumped an entire load from spit ie 250 ea 20mm rounds into and osti, saw all the sprites and nothing except him smoking and still shooting.... I am coming down firing from straight above them, almost 90 degrees each time just like I bomb, higher angle, the better accuracy and besides shouldn't it be the same as a field ack, where 2-3 20mm kills it, we're talking about a half track with only limited armor on the top gun facing target, if I come from above I'm hitting crew and gun, not the armour....Just IMHO they should be modeled like a field ack if u hit from top with 20mm, also they are HE and create a small blast radius like on field acks.
