Title: game locks up low frame rate

I just got a new computer it is the AMD Athalon 64 x2 1GB of memory but it has a intregrated video ATI radeon express 200. It locks up alot I have tried lowering the graphics down on everything and it still locks up. When I'm flying sometimes my FR goes to almost 0 at one time it did and locked up. Think it is my video processor?

Onboard video chips are extremely low-end devices.

You can try setting the maximum texture size to 128, turn off hardware vertex processing, disable skins (in the game), do not check any preload options, and see what that will do.

Ok I will try that until I get a new card which is my next question. What is a good value card to install? I'm not looking to spend more than $200.00 at this point.

In that price range you can get a good ATI or NVidia card.  Either is fine.

I have a ATI x800xl 256 meg card.  I get about 40-85 fps no problem.  Here is a web address that u can look up all video cards ever made and see the specs of each 1.  Look up mine and u see what the specs are and use that as a guide I guess.  If u want to look at nvidia cards, just scroll down that page and click the link to page 2 which is nvidia.

Skuzzy, I not sure if u want or not but maybe this link could be added to a sticky or something.  They update this site when ever anew card comes out or specs have changed.
