Now, I thought there WAS no "IXc", that all were improved B wings, and that the "c" was the 2x20mm wing. Shouldn't it just be "IX" and not "IXc"?

It's interesting to see the new spit is going to get the new "wide angle lens" for the cockpit. The newer planes seem to have this in spades (the ki84's was reduced significantly due to pilot complaints, and the p47 seems to have it to a lesser extend, but even so...).

I believe that is exactly what the front page says.  IX, not IXc.

And, anyway, the "c" wing was known as the "universal" wing, because it could house a wide variety of armament, basically anything from the 8 .303 to 4 20mm, with "exotic" mix like 4 Hispano and 4 Browning or 2 Hispano and 6 Browning.

Lol, no please, I can't imagine what Furball could do to my little, frail person with a Spit and 4 hizookas.... :p (well.... actually with any plane and any weapon :D)

Would be quite correctly available on the Mk V only.
Maybe an option now the Spit V is being reduced from 16 to 12lbs boost?

Meh, like the RAF found out so many years ago, in AH 2xHispanos are quite lethal enough :P

These new models (these latest spits and all the redone AH planes) look absolutely fantastic!    

 A big WTG to the crews doing these.
