I can't recall so much rain here in the last 25 years.. 8 straight days of rain.. MORE than the normal entire season totals in just the last 3 days.
There's freakin water everywhere. Winds been blowin 35+ for over a week. Looks like parts of LA & MS with boats tooling up and down the streets. Power outages. Basements flooded. Highway drainage overwhelmed.
Gotta be the strangest weather pattern I've ever seen. I'm gettin a lil concerned about how damn cold and how much snow we're gonna see this winter.. after the hottest, longest summer on record here, followed by the wettest, stormiest fall...

Hawklore, I neither requested or require your 'moral support' to deal with rising flood waters.
As to not commenting on your two word one line simple observation in your first troll or your two line, 9 word observation in your second to events in your town that didn't even make regional news let alone CNN..
Well, a couple of rainy days in the life of a kid that don't even go outside to play when the sun shines obviously doesn't need any commentary from me. Till now.
So, my response to you..

Hang, that's because it's not news here when it rains for days on end in the late summer and early autumn. It's just normal.
If it didn't rain here during that time of the year, now THAT would be news.

I hate it when it rains too... but when I go down to the basement and find a coupla grand worth of model airplanes floatin around doin their best to imitate a 1/4 scale yacht regatta...
THAT sucks enuff to post about. Thank cripes I moved my stuff upstairs a coupla days ago.. the landlords planes are doin the bouy-bob.
I rescued what I could, gave him a call at work. He sounds hurt.. "It's never flooded own there before..."
My reply was "It ain't never rained around here for 8 days straight with better than 12" in the last 48 hours either. Bonehaid. Shoulda moved yer stuff when I moved mine, but ooooohhh noooo, never listen to 'ol doom-'n-gloom me... yah tard."

LOL.. not 'dozens', just three, but they are big birds. And they didn't actually 'float'.. the 5lb engines worked like boat anchors but the tails floated up.
