Title: Radion question
Post by: JB39 on October 14, 2005, 12:41:00 PM
Hi, I am getting a PCI graphics card for my dell docking station.  The only one I can really use is the Radion 9250.  My question is, they have two at compUSA.  They are both PCI 256 DDR and have the same chips, however, one has two processors I guess.  One is 129.99 and the other 79.99.  The cheaper one is for Direct x 8, but will it still work?  I am short on cash.  Thanks, jon

They dont give things away for free.  If both are sitting on the shelf, and one is cheaper than the other, you can bet there's a difference.  The 9250 isnt a great performer anyway.  I'd look them over carefully.  I'd almost bet money that you read it wrong and one of them has less RAM.  If you cant find a difference, ask.  I understand money being tight, but buying a paperweight wont help you either.

Next time, post things like this in the Hardware and Software forum. Also; try newegg.com; you can search by price.
