Load em up with 25 gas and 6x50's and the pony will win in a turn fight.

D-11 would be an interesting one to put in, and the N is awesome with flaps down..

still think i would rather be in the jug, it is rock solid low speed with flaps it seems.

If anyone want I can give it a DA test with some good pilot, when we will switch plane after 3 fights, and compare results.

Though better if some US plane pilots will do it, I fly neither of this planes regularly.

In duel a would take a P51 with 4 guns and try to get on verticals at first, then try a low speed flight, both to play on the P47 weight.

Laminar flow to an eliptical wing. Another fighter I know that does well turning has an eliptical wing also....name escapes me though. ;)
