I can't place it just from the canopy, but it looks early. Part of me wants to say Ju87 due to the contour just below the canopy, but the realistic part of me wants to say "Something Japanese or American -- early war".

my best guess is something french. its not american, german, brit, russian, or japanese because none of them used helmets.

I think it is French or Italian..

cant quite figure it out though.
