Title: X45 Rotary switch and pitch Trim.
Post by: Rotoriano on October 17, 2005, 07:01:19 PM
Hello,

Have a problem.  I am trying to setup my rotary to handle my pitch trim.  I have successfully told the game (within the stick selection screen) to use the rotary as my pitch trim.  However, the trim is backwards.  When i roll the rotatry forward, the trim input is nose up, when roll it back the trim input is nose down.

Any clues?

Stick has been calibrated in winxp and within the game's stick cal utility.  Tho I am not sure if I should have calibrated the rotary switches within the game.  Could this be the prob?

Roll trim works as advertised.  No inversion there.

TIA.

Edit:  I went ahead and calibrated the rotaries withing AH, and still pitch trim is backwards.

Check the "Invert Axis" box in the stick selection.

actually it's not under stick selection. It's under stick > setings, select the axis that is the trim and check the "invert" box.
