When I heard of this story I was very saddened. I thought of my own child and I thought of the joy one finds when they are lofting about in a flying machine, enjoying life so splendidly......only to end in such tragic ways, those left behind are left to wonder why
There really is no "why"

If anything can come from this, let it be the inspiration to do good for others in the short time we have together, to love and to be loved.

Nope.
Tragic story - but nice post.
Leads me to wonder what happens to people on the way to becoming an adult.... Why that sense of discovery gets abandoned.
Anyways, no - well put Yeager.
