Title: Clear sided case
Post by: SkyChimp on October 24, 2005, 12:58:42 AM
Can I get a clear side for a case that doesn't have one?

The case cost 300$ for a very good reason:O

Google is very easy to use:)

Lookup case mods and such.. Then go to site forums....

It helps to know what case you are talking about.

Go to your local Menards, HomeDepot, Lowes.

Buy a piece of 1/8 " plexiglass the size of your case (or a bit bigger)

Its not hard to work with, cuts easily with a hacksaw or virtually any other saw for that matter.

Cut your existing side out leaving 1/2 to 1 inch around the outside. (Like a picture frame)

Cut the plexi to fit inside, secure in place with

Double sided tape
Screws
Bolts
Rivets
glue
epoxy

Or, be even more radical.
Take the side off, hit it in corner somewhere.
Find a fan to blow cool air directly into case through open side.

If anyone asks just tell them you've got that cpu overclocked so far you can fry eggs on it.
