Ran accross this and it made me LMAO.  It shows yet again what I feel about so called "peace" rallies.

I don't like rallies, demonstrations, or public gatherings of any sort - it ****s up the traffic.

I don't like traffic.  They should all just stop and take a chill pill, have a nice cream soda or something.

So there.

;)

Seriously, IMHO non-violent demonstrations have value beyond the actual message and that overrides the temporary inconvenience.  Sure, too much of anything is bad for you, but in general the right to assemble and voice an opinion ought to be protected.  Even if it's an ignorant, biased, or simply retarded opinion.  Anyone who disagrees is free to counter-demonstrate, although it seems to me that the morons are often better organized and able to raise a rabble of similiarly ignorant but bored or lonely people willing to gather for almost any reason.

I like the solution I saw on tv...  Go to these rallies and get them to sign petitions to ban dihydrogen monoxide (water), since it's clear that the govt has covered up the fact that every cancer victim in history was literally saturated with dihydrogen monoxide from birth, yet the govt does nothing about this!

Penn and Teller did that on their show "Bull****" it was funny to watch and somewhat sad at the same time.

Now when the Man Show did their bit with the pettition to "repeal Womans Suffurage"  it was art ;)

what's amazing to me is how little is told about the organizers of these events.

It doesn't amaze me. Liberals have been dumbing down America since the "Peace, Love and Dope" generation.

And Maslow's theory says that people tend to hit their 20's and 30's , then either have babies, or rally to save the whales (or Free Palestine, or pick your favorite "movement")..anything to help them feel that they've contributed SOMETHING to this life, whether or not it a was wrong or right cause.

what would be funny is if the original story got more national media news, then this article came out later.
