Columbia 400, fully loaded.
Oh, sorry, whenever someone talks about winning the lottery, I start thinking about the plane I'll get.

Lotteries are a tax on the stupid.
That being said I still had to buy $80 worth of tickets because if it was my time to win and I didn't play, well that would just really suck.

Most lotteries are not tax free. The first thing any winner should do is get themselves a good tax attorney to work out the tax liability.

99.9% of lotteries here are one lump sum and tax free, even if you're an american and win you have no canadian tax liability.

I actually had the first two number in order on one of my tickets. I am pretty lucky with things like this.
Once at a charity event with over 1000 people I won the bingo game they had. Each table had a bingo card at each seat and they played 3 games after the speaches. I think it was to make sure you did not leave after the meal but before the talk. The first game was for 1500 and the first 4 numbers that were drawn were the numbers along the top row of my ticket. They drew 2 more then the last number in that row. I was the only winner. The next too games were for 2000 and 2500 but mulitiple people won so I ended up with the biggest prize.
Another time I got 5 our on 6 on the 6/49. I only won $3200 though.
I have won more than I have ever spent as I rarely play and only when the jackpot gets big enough for the newspapers to start talking about it.

I think the most important thing about that last post is, and I'm sure everyone will agree with me, that HABU PLAYS BINGO.
That is all.

hehe
Bingo in Canada is about as trailer trash as you can get. The time I played it was at a charity event that was black tie. It was not a Bingo night, the game was just a short interlude between the end of the meal and the speeches and dancing (to the Tragically Hip). My wife was given tickets by the president of her company so we were all at the same table.
I would like to clarify that I have never set foot in a Bingo Parlor and if I ever do and you see me there you have permission to shoot me in the head and I will have obviously lost my mind.
