I'm trying to remember a song... 70's era... instrumental... rock... acoustic guitar...
any help?
-
They say the second thing to go is the memory.
:D
-
Did CBS Sports use it at one time? Could be that one by ELO.
-
I'm thinking it was a one hit wonder and it's vaguely similar to Gun's N Roses, "Don't Cry".
-
can you hum a few bars for us? :D
-
oops... edit above.
-
mm. I was thinking of ELO's "Fire On High" - it has a nice acoustic riff that CBS sports used to use between segments.

Let's pretend for a moment that I'm not a musician and can't possibly know the difference. ;)

sandman... mason williams did the original, but with some searching you can find quite a few really good covers of it, even one by clapton.

What is the difference between a classical guitar and an acoustic guitar? Or is that similar to the difference between a fiddle and a violin- the person who plays it?

a "classical" guitar generally has nylon strings, and a wider neck. think flamenco guitar with that soft sound
acoustic, generally have metal strings, and a larger body, and a brighter sound, think 80's hair ballads.

<<--- changes name back from Omniscient. > Thanks for the info!
-
classical gas by mason williams. he was the band leader on the smothers brothers show
-
sandy if ya cant find it if got it in mp3 format with bitrates of128, 256 or 320.
-
the difference between a violin and a fiddle is that you can set a beer on a fiddle.
-
I guess that means you can set a glass of white wine on a violin?
-
I like them there big fiddles.
You know, the ones that ya have ta holt betwixt yer legs on account'a it be'n to darn big ta fit under yer chin?
