I got my Colin McRae Rally II today and that game really rocks  (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/biggrin.gif)
I loved its predecessor and thought there's no way to make it better anymore... Well Codemasters did it  (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/smile.gif)

I just wondering do you guys in States dig games like this?

Ooooo.. the Audi Sport.  That little car really started it all as far as high-end ralley racing goes.  It set a standard that was hard to beat for some time.  Does it still hold the class record for Pike's Peak?

The funny thing is that it was like the 3rd quickest car manufactured (its initial release) that year.  Only things to beat it where the Lambourgini Countach and the Ferrari Testarossa (maybe the 512bb.. can't remember when that switchover took place).

Yep Audi really shocked other manufacturers with that car.
In mid -80's I was looking our "Rallye of the thousand lakes" and there were still few 2WD car in World Rallycar series then. Markku Alen was driving a Lancia Rallye 037 but he just couldn't stay in touch with Hannu Mikkola's and Michele Mouton's (She was fast!) Quattros.

Edit:
Still remember those B-Groups cars?

To give you an idea of the performance GroupB cars were capable of  I'll mention that in the 1986 season Henri Toivonen made some laps around the Estoril circuit, during the Portuguese rally, the fastest of which would have qualified him in the sixth position of the F1 Grand Prix that same season...Toivonen was using the Lancia Delta S4 and was accompanied by his usual co-driver Sergio Cresto

Heres the pic of Audi Quattro Sport (http://www.kolumbus.fi/staga/rally/sportQ.jpg);
Little bit shorter with more Power under the hood     (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/smile.gif)
