Just wondering, does anyone know what the date is on the next patch? I'm dying to know! And also, does anyone know what 109's & spits are being made/remodeled for sure? Just wondering. Thanks all!

all spits and 109s are being remodeled, not sure when they are comming out though.

As yet we don't know when they will be out. They are still being worked on. HTC doesn't really say in much advance when a new patch is ready.
As for what is being redone, do a search for the forums. There's been many many posts (some visible still today)

I'm guestimating a week after they post the picture of the last 109 or spit. Still no news on the spit1, seafire, 109E, 109F-4 or 109G2.

My guess (and I could be completely off) is that the new planes will likely be out shortly after the completion of the Malta scenario. I say this because it features 109s and Spits, and it would not be so good to all of a sudden have some possible flight model or boost changes in one of your rides inbetween frames.
Basically I don't think they'll be out before the scenario starts, and I don't think HT would release it during the middle of it.
I would guess that (barring some major hiccup), they should be out relatively soon after the scenario because lately it seems as though once we have all the picture previews of all the planes in the patch, it doesn't take much longer to get the patch. And, we're pretty close to having all the previews.

So when will our battle of Malta be over...? I don't really think it would really matter that much if they release it in the middle of it, it would be interesting though! lol Might even change the tide of the battle! Mostly from the Spit5, I heard the flight model and ammo were being cut down to make it more realistic. That could turn the tide of the fight! lol
But as said before, they do still have the Spit Mk1, Seafire, 109E, F, G2 and any other model they might be making to still worry about, so it'll most likly still be some time, I was just hoping to find a confermed date.

I'm sorry. You won't get one. HTC doesn't do that, because the second you set a release date, you have to have luck and the Gods on your side just to make that date. Ask Valve how often they meet release dates (LMAO).
Better to just release it when it's done than to say "It'll be due the 5th.. okay now we mean the 12th.. okay now we mean the 30th.. okay now we're looking at first quarter 2010" -- see what I mean?
All we can do is speculate and sometimes HTC will give us clues and hints, but that's it. Sorry.
