Title: Flashing runways

Does anyone know why when I am about to land that sections of the runway flicker out?  It seems that when I am about 3-400 ft from touch down the runway just disappears and all I see is the grass terrain where it should be, then it flashes back on again?  I have just noti9ced this since the last upgrades.  Some others I have talked to are having the same problem.  Any ideas?

Do you have an ATI video card (older one)?  If so, then your only option is to disable the terrain optimizations in the video setup.

Just so you know you are not alone I have the same problem.

SKuzzy hit the nail on the head, I use an old ATI 9200.

Other than the flashing runway (which doesn't happen all the time) the game runs great.
