grand standing at its finest!
http://news.yahoo.com/s/nm/20051101/pl_nm/bush_leak_congress_dc (gotta love the yahoo link)
LOL - are the dems just that desperate?
-
I'm confused. Why are closed doors significant in any way other than the fact that it rarely happens?
-
When they close the door they also stop working right?
Just more wasted tax dollars.
Those bastards need to be doced like ten years pay, then maybe they would start treating every dollar of tax money like they should.
-
lmao u should've seen HARRY REID (D-NV) on FNC/CNN/MSNBC,
he was like this... :furious
-
the 2006 mid term elections are coming. the demos must win back control of congress to save the country. the campaigns have started.
-
probably closed door so they can discuss things that might be classified, or perhapse things that can't be released in public regarding the investigation. Just my guess though.
-
That or Ted lost his pants again
-
Now that the doors are closed, Can we bolt them shut, then ship the whole building off to france?
Time to get the other half to do the same thing,......

there's a poll already out and 50-60% of us says they want change. They want more democrats in congress to manage the country.
i'll post a link if i can find it...
-
Incredible! And if that happens, I bet everyone will be satisfied, and not want a change in the other direction in four years....and then want change back in four years after that...and then...
-
There's something that I just don't trust about Senator Palpatine.

One would think, but from what I hear, the Senate was largely empty today. Hell, Barbara Boxer was on a plane OTW to the Daily Show.
-
LOL.
When it says, "Who do you think would be better at controlling Congress?"
The responses it gets most recently are:
10/13-16/05 Repubs / Demos / Neither
32 45 12
You can count every single person who says neither would be voting Republican.

Excellent campaign strategy. Go for the lesser of two evils vote. :aok
-
Well, a lot of people who vote republican would rather have neither.
But they would rather vote republican over democrat.
(And I know you are going to say the exact same thing, but visa versa).

I seriously doubt republicans are worried about those numbers
Nov 2003 Poll "If the election were to be held today who would you most likely vote for:
Kerry 48%
Bush 35%
and no those arent real stats but they do properly illustrate my point. That's pretty close to how it really was in 03

Not at all. I'm not sure how it typically splits up, but I doubt that the "neithers" flock to any one side.

1994 is the ONLY time that 'national' feelings have mattered in local & state off year elections---for the most part they mean nothing; what does asking me, who lives in VA, matter regarding who's running in Jersey?
-
I just came across a poll that is just as reliable as yours.
Totally honest Poll from unbiased people. (http://www.nlcs.k12.in.us/dewey/poll.jpg)
-
the only problem with the polls is that for the democrats to gain control...
people would have to actually vote for em.
I don't like either party but will allways vote for the republican over the democrat if that is my only choice. If voting "neither" got rid of both I would vote neither.

I'm telling you guys these polls are useless and if I was a republican I would pay them no heed. There is no real campaigning right now and unless you poll every single district it does not acuratly portray what the results might be a year from now.
