Ringfort, VILKAS, heres the link about The Scissors (http://www.simhq.com/_air/air_054a.html) i was talking about yesterday. I think its really worth the twisting of brain cells needed to work through it.

Hi, that was probably the last joint project Andy and I did for SimHQ, if you have any questions about anything there, just let me know.

IIRC. it's the last article made about air to air combat, without reference to a particular sim. It's two years old, now, and I really like to see something new about A2A at Simhq, namely an article about stall fighting (something like Andy's B'n'Z series) and one about the merge.... any chance? :D

I didnt know that. Thank you Badboy.
That read helped me alot, not only with scissors, but generally speaking with theory about Stall Fights and their inner workings. Made me understand why some of my moves work and some dont.

On the subject, do you pull up a little or down a little during the manuover? When I try this it seems my plane is just rolling on the same forward axis, i.e. a straight line. how do you get the wide roll?
-
Yes you add pitch by pulling back, and rudder into the turn. Think of a corkscrew.. thats the motion your trying to accomplish.
