anyone played it yet?  Honestly I didn't even know it was in the works or released yet but just wanted to see if there was any fans here that have played this yet?

On the burned game junkie boards I frequent, most of the jaded guys whose best approach to something like optimism about new games is seeing the glass half full... of piss, are raving mad about Civ IV. I'm tempted.

I got all of those including alpha centari and all the add on packs to CIV 2 and 3.  I just saw a release about CIV but havn't heard a peep about it.

Hard Disk Space: 1.7 GB Free

CD-ROM Drive: 4X Speed

Video:128 MB Video Card w/ DirectX 8 support (pixel & vertex shaders)

Sound: DirectX 9.0c-compatible sound card

DirectX®: DirectX® version 9.0c (included) or higher

If your comp is less than 3 years old , should be no problem
If your comp is older, build a new one.

Big fan of CivIII, and just got Civ-IV but only run it the once so far...looks very promising so far
