Oh btw, the B-17 Flying Fortress - the Mighty Eigth (can you say: looong game title?  (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/wink.gif) game is mucho fun - even for Luftwobbles as you can jump into a Me-109/Fw-190 and kick some buff bellybutton like we are used too in AH...  (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/wink.gif)

Sorry to jump in, but... I expected a lot from B17II, all i got from it was using the Nordern Sight. Other than that, I dinnae call it a Sim, when my Dora flies like a Zekke (and the 109's Keep attacking my B17 from my dead 6!!! LOL !).

I had a lot of pleasure with B17I , maybe I'm just too old to get some fun out of Boxed sims... dunno.

It's a nice Game, just a tad repetitive (and you don't get to shoot Tardo either...)

Yup flight model is super porked... but the Fw in the game is an A8 not a D9. Notice how short and snub the nose is? Also it has 4x 20mms in the wings, Dora only has 2 and those are the inboard cannons.

It is not a fighter sim.

It is a crew managment sim.

erm, yup  (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/smile.gif) what Animal says - obviously you get the most out of flying the B-17 and managing your crew members. The "fly Fighters" option is just a lil' icing on the cake.
