Was chatting with somebody while flying a few days ago, and I mentioned I had a favorite skin for the Ki84. Later I was thinking about it, and realized I either don't give a rat's arse about what skin is on, or I only fly with 1-2 skins ever. Usually it depends on the plane.
How about everyone else? Which planes do you have a fav skin for? Which do you not even care about?
Favs: 109E4, 109F4, 190a5, 190a8, Ki84, Ki61, C205, P51B, P51D
Don't give a care: 190D, Ta152, F4u1's (all of them), zeros, P47s, any bomber (and I confess lately I've not flown many, so that may be why).

P51d "Big Beautiful Doll"
(if we ever get it)
-
heh, Big Mac Junior (whatever it's called) is one my favs. There was another but can't remember right now.
-
109G2, the white winter camo:)
-
P-38J "Virginia Marie", or P-38L "Lizzie V" (both the 433rd FS skins for those planes). Only skins I use on them.
Don't have a favorite for the G yet.
-
Bf110G2, Black skin.

Speaking of that, Laser, would you like to see one of those for the 110C4? I've got an italian profile for a gruppo that used 110c4s as night fighters. I just don't know if anybody would use an all-black 110c4.

Been alternating between Fester's and Oboe's P38G skins for the 432nd FS. Also very much like Fester's "Maiden Headhunter" for the G.
Don't fly much else but am anticipating the new Spit skins for the XVI and VIII.
Kev did one of a 79 Squadron Spit VIII that was flown by an Aussie Spit XII driver when he returned to the Pac. Really like that one.
There was a 71 squadron gray/green camo Spit V I always used too on the old Spit V.

Err, I mainly use the 110g2 for squad operations. We don't really use the C4 so it doesn't matter to me.
-
cc, I won't bother then.
I've got 2 more C4's sent in recently, am taking a break from them to do a 109 skin or two.

My favorite skins are the faded blue, red around the star, mid war F4U-1 Corsair and the F6F Hellcat.
They look like warplanes are supposed to look like. It's not the shiny, new looking dark blue paintjobs on the late war Corsairs and Hellcats.
These guys look like work horses of the Pacific.
